POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be based in our Marinette, Wisconsin office to provide coordination of identified changes, including tracking of and liaison duties across multiple engineering disciplines. This position is responsible for compiling impacts to the baseline FFG configuration resulting from multiple changes. Review changes for completeness and request additional information from the Customer when required. Other duties include writing impact statements, documenting overall change impact and occasional estimating duties, as well as scoping of changes for impacts within the shipyard. This position should have an understanding of ship terminology and the shipbuilding process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.Position involves frequent, regular interaction with all levels of FMM's operations/senior staff, regulatory bodies, and major suppliers.Position involves occasional interaction with Customer, as requested by Program Manager or Senior Project Engineer.Work with all engineering disciplines to identify specific work resulting from the implementation of a government design.Responsible to monitor design development with all disciplines of the Engineering department.Provide preliminary design and schedule impacts for each designated change in coordination with the Cost, Estimating, and Technical Scoping Team.Possess a working knowledge of Government Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).Attend relevant change meetings.Perform status checks on contract modifications and change order implementation and report to the Change Program Manager on weekly basis.Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.COMPETENCIES: SPARC

While performing the duties of this job, the employee's workspace is in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting with little to no exposure to the moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. When entering the shipyard, the work environment is not climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required or this requirement can also be met with an Associate's degree and one (1) year of experience or with a high school diploma with three (3+) years of progressive responsibility in administration, management control and/or accounting of technical/professional services in a manufacturing industry.Possess a knowledge of marine systems including but not limited to: structural, outfitting, machinery, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, electronics, HVAC, etc..SKILLS
Must have working knowledge of Ship Work Breakdown Structure (SWBS).Must have strong Microsoft Office Suites computer skills.Must be technical cognizant in one or more shipbuilding disciplines.Must have successful problem resolution skills.Must have the ability to read/analyze program metrics.Must have cost, schedule, and program management skills.
