Job Description The Claims department contributes to PSE's success by providing prompt and thorough investigation of reported incidents involving damages to PSE property as well as to third party property. The administrative specialist provides analytical support to the claims department in Bellevue, hybrid in-person Monday to Friday. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. This job is under federal regulation by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and is subject to pre-employment and random drug screenings that include screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations. Job Responsibilities Claims Team Support: Provides administrative support to the claims team, including time entry, office supply management, and meeting organization. Performs other duties as assigned. Correspondence and Communication: Prepares and distributes claims-related correspondence, such as letters, checks, emails, and reports, while responding to customer inquiries and delivering excellent customer service. Data Analysis and Reporting: Assisting with data analysis and reporting, including claims trends, metrics, and performance indicators; identifying areas for process improvements. Vendor Management: Oversees relationships with outside collection agencies and counsel, handling tasks such as electronic file transfer, claim file status tracking, check processing, note-taking, and invoice payment. Customer Service: Delivers exceptional customer service, both internally and externally, by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements. Minimum Qualifications High School education or equivalent. Extensive experience using word-processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software. Previous administrative support experience. Desired Qualifications Experience working in Claims or Utilities. BA/BS. Experience working with SAP.
