This position will provide administrative support to QSAC’s Offices at our NEW Garden City location opening soon.
Job Responsibilities
Administration & Reception
Will welcome and admit visitors and greet students and families, while maintaining appropriate security procedures (visitor log book, Time card swipes, etc.)Perform administrative duties such as filing, faxing, ordering suppliesMaintain paper and computer filesCalendar management, create and edit Microsoft Office documents, as requestedWill respond to and transfer all in-coming calls and take messages in a professional manner and route calls as necessaryPerform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior managementQualifications & Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree highly preferred or related administrative experience required1-2 years customer service/office experience is highly preferredPunctuality and regular attendance is expectedMaintain individual /family confidentialityCommitment to company values and adherence to policies is essentialExcellent customer service skills are requiredAbility to juggle multiple tasks with flexibilityDependability and flexibility is expectedExcellent interpersonal skills are requiredWorking knowledge Microsoft Office is requiredMissionQSAC is a New York City and Long Island based nonprofit that supports children and adults with autism, together with their families, in achieving greater independence, realizing their future potential, and contributing to their communities in a meaningful way by offering person-centered services.
