IT Systems Administrator , you'll be the technical backbone, ensuring that our Linux and Windows servers are not just functional but optimized to their fullest potential. You'll safeguard critical systems, lead virtualization efforts, and design bulletproof backup strategies that keep our data secure and accessible.

Your expertise will extend to the cloud, where you'll collaborate with the Cloud Operations team to manage and secure AWS resources, bringing your skills in automation and scripting to the forefront. Whether it's deploying new solutions, streamlining operations, or troubleshooting complex issues, you'll be the go-to expert, making a tangible impact on our technology landscape.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $100,000 Annually

What you will do?

Take charge of Linux servers with expertise, from installation to configuration and troubleshooting across various distributionsKeep systems running smoothly with regular performance monitoring, security audits, and timely updates.Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems to maintain a secure and efficient Linux environmentLead the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of a robust Windows Server infrastructureSafeguard critical services like Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP by ensuring their stability and securityChampion best practices for server hardening and optimization to keep everything running at peak performanceDesign and maintain rock-solid backup and disaster recovery strategies for both on-premises and cloud-based environmentsManage backup solutions, whether it's Veeam, Cloud Native backups, or others, ensuring data is always protectedRegularly test backups to guarantee seamless and efficient data restoration when it's needed most.Deploy, configure, and oversee VMware vSphere virtualization infrastructure, ensuring everything is optimized and running smoothlyMonitor and optimize virtual machine performance, tackling any issues with network or storage connectivity head-onTroubleshoot virtualization challenges with precision, ensuring seamless operationsCollaborate with the Cloud Operations team to provision and manage AWS resources, including EC2 instances, S3 storage, RDS databases, and VPCsImplement and uphold rigorous security measures and access controls in AWS environmentsLeverage AWS Systems Manager (SSM) for centralized management, automation, and inventory management, streamlining cloud operationsDevelop and refine scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.) to automate routine tasks, system provisioning, and configuration managementLead the charge in automation workflows using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, working closely with the Cloud and DevOps team to enhance IT operationsWhat you bring to the table!

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience speaks volumesPossess a deep understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and more. You're the go-to expert for ensuring seamless connectivityHands-on experience with AWS Systems Manager for centralized management and automation, driving efficiency in cloud operationsFamiliarity with Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub is a big plus-bring your skills in IaC to streamline and automate infrastructure deploymentHolders of relevant certifications like RHCE, MCSA/MCSE, VCP, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect will have a distinct advantageExceptional problem-solving abilities with a knack for prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You thrive under pressure and keep things running smoothlyStrong communication skills that allow you to collaborate effortlessly with team members across various departments, ensuring everyone's on the same page
