Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our client's team in New York. Looking for an outstanding graphic designer to work on brand initiatives and campaigns supporting company philanthropies - ranging from logos and brand development, editorial design, advertising campaign and live events. One will contribute to the creative vision of the team, collaborating with designers and copywriters who define and design brand experiences across print, digital, motion and experiential. Will also partner with cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts, execute original and innovative design systems and brand campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Deliver extraordinary design skills for company philanthropies projects ranging from annual reports, institutional branding and marketing campaignsCollaborating with multiple departments to direct and coordinate digital, web and motion executionsSuccessfully translate stakeholder feedback into great design that pushes the business forwardWork alongside the rest of the design team in ensuring a high level of execution across all deliverables following this visionBring a strong sense of design with excellent skills in graphic design, typography, photography and motion graphicsImpeccable attention to detail that strives for perfectionBe a 360-degree coordinated thinker who is able to build and roll-out multi-channel campaigns in partnership with creative leadWork within a defined but dynamic visual/brand systemA deep understanding of creative execution. Work with vendors, printers, developers and animators, seeing complicated jobs through productionMove fluidly across multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentMake design decisions in real-time to drive progressWork seamlessly in a global organization, often across time zonesHave knowledge and experience in production design with the ability to build and submit mechanical files for both print & digital and liaise with production vendorsWork closely with production designers to provide design feedbackContribute to fostering a culture of innovation and creativityKeeping an ear on the ground for external creative trendsContributing to the studio culture with fresh ideas and a can-do attitudeQualifications:

4+ years of experience as graphic designer having worked in agency or for an institute, government, NGO, philanthropic organizations.A portfolio that demonstrates outstanding creative workStrong operating knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and SketchOutstanding attention to detailProficient in speaking the language of production design, video production and digital productionAble to effectively communicate with creatives from other disciplinesAbility to effectively communicate design concepts and creative work to stakeholdersStrong print and digital experienceEnvironmental design experience requiredStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to receive and interpret complex or undefined creative briefs, present ideas creatively and effectively to high-level partnersPrevious experience in the Institutional / governmental / NGO world is desiredAn easy-going attitude, calm under pressure and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Location: New York, NY (In office a minimum of 4 days per work week.)Duration: 6 month contractRate: $50-$60/hour, W-2 Non-Exempt consultant of Crawford Group; benefits available if eligible (Our hourly ranges are determined based on skills, experience and location)
