Summary:
Provides administrative support for various Materials Management services.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
High School diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years of Administrative Assistant experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Proficient in the use of personal computer
Proficient in the use of required software, including Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and GroupWise
Ability to organize/prioritize multiple responsibilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge/exposure to health care support functions including purchasing and facility management is highly desirable
Financial aptitude and competency required
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Excellent verbal, written and communications skills
Knowledge of standard office equipment (fax, copier, printer, etc.)
Knowledge of dictation/transcription equipment
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs
Travel between facilities may be required on occasion
