Our "Roof & Components (RC)" business unit develops and produces roof systems for every type of vehicle and autonomous driving. To achieve this, we rely on the most modern technologies and materials. Are you technically skilled and enthusiastic about product innovations? Then use your expertise and passion to help shape our success story.

We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic colleague to be an apprentice within our Webasto team. The apprentice's responsibilities include learning and developing practical skills, attending classes at a local technical college, observing all health and safety codes, completing tests and assignments, as well as on-the -job training at Webasto with identified mentors. You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

The chosen apprentice should be well-organized, flexible, and willing to assist wherever possible while learning their new role.Assisting within the relevant department, but also learning about other aspects of the company.Completing all tests, assignments, and other required evaluations and positively receiving feedback.Attend meetings and offer suggestions for improvement; Build professional relationships with colleagues and team.Specifically in this role you will build, install, test, or maintain robotic equipment or related automated production systems. Make repairs to robots or peripheral equipment, such as replacement of defective circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders, or servomotors. Align, fit, or assemble components, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes. Install, program, or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers, end-of-arm tools, or conveyors. Evaluate the efficiency and reliability of industrial robotic systems, reprogramming or calibrating to achieve maximum quantity and quality. More as the role progresses.This is what you bring to us:

High school diploma or GED.Driver's license recommended and/or reliable transportation.Must be committed to the apprentice program for 2 years (4,000 hrs.) followed by 2 years in respective role at Webasto.Must be in good standing with attendance and Webasto work rules.Good time management, critical, and interpersonal skills as well as problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.A growth mindset and passion for learning.What we offer you:
