Nakupuna Consulting is looking for a Business Analyst II to assist the Project's Architecture Team. This is a hybrid position and the new candidate will be required to come into the Arlington, VA office at least 2 days/week. The Business Analyst II will work as a member of an the development project team to comprehend, analyze, and synthesize complex technical information; support project management tasks leveraging PMI principles for monitoring and reporting on various phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Planning, Implementation, Testing, Documentation; analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement; create, track and ensure timely delivery of project documentation; build cross-team coalitions; and support change management activities.Responsibilities

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to create reports and professional documents that communicate project status to both internal and external stakeholders.Work with technical staff to interpret, organize and draft supporting documents for client meetings and presentations.Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases to support analytics and project metrics reporting capabilities.Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Support Navy requirements development process and facilitate team analysis of requirement deliveriesSynthesize complex technical information into lay terms.Develop and distribute documentation to internal and external stakeholders to build understanding of technical concepts.Participate in daily Agile team meetings and client and milestone meetings to maintain ongoing awareness of project status.Work with team management to prioritize business and information needs.Use judgement to select the best communication medium to convey content; may include use of graphics, diagrams, charts, etc.Demonstrate problem solving skills when facing impediments.

This position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze, and synthesize complex technical information.
The following experience is desired:* Experience with Project Management principles associated with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically Planning, Implementation, Testing, Documentation* Experience working in Agile Project Management Environments* Experience in projects involving direct client delivery* Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)* Experience with Qlik and other data analytics software tools* Use of Atlassian Tool Suite, Jira and Confluence.Clearance:
A background investigation at the T3 level is required, as this is not currently a classified position. Must be a U.S. citizen.Work Location:
