Job Description
The Team
We are seeking a Manager to join American Tower's U.S. Tower division's Expense Reimbursement team within the Finance Business Operations group. This team analyzes asset-level expenses incurred by the U.S. Tower division and coordinates internally to receive reimbursements from customers. Day to day you will establish and oversee processes to identify and fulfill these reimbursements. Your team of Analysts evaluates SG&A, capital, and R&M to determine which expenses are eligible for reimbursement based on shared benefits or contractual obligations. As the Manager of Reimbursement Expenses, you will partner cross-functionally to ensure all customer reimbursable expenses are captured on time and comply with established financial management guidelines. Additionally, you will be accountable for achieving financial results, maintaining audit compliance, growing the portfolio of opportunities, and driving efficiencies.
Responsibilities
What You Can Offer UsDeliver results against established financial goals and targets.Establish and document protocols and processes for portfolio analysis to determine which expenses are eligible for customer reimbursement, including common area maintenance (CAM), operating expenses (OPEX), utilities, generator fuel, and taxes.Interpret customer agreements to make decisions on opportunities and limitations related to shared and reimbursable expenses.Partner with Network Operations, Managed Networks, Innovation, Sales, Legal, and Accounting department leaders to develop, implement, and monitor clear operational controls related to data collection, customer engagement, and compliance.Oversee Oracle transactions and measure those against cycle times, volume, and quality metrics you develop.Provide detailed readouts and predictive analytics to track and monitor financial performance and provide summaries of budget trends and variances; establish cadence for executive-level presentations.Develop and ensure that all methodologies, practices, policies, procedures, and customer reports are consistently utilized, adhered to, and understood.As a Manger you are responsible for the recruitment, performance management, and career development of Expense Analysts. You'll also be expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
What You Need To Succeed
Bachelor's degree required.A minimum of 5 years of data analytics, account reconciliation, or lease administration experience, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience required.Excellent Excel and other Microsoft Office skills required; Oracle experience required; and a working knowledge of Siterra and Salesforce preferred.Project Management experience required; financial management and reconciliation skills required; business acumen and industry knowledge required; and data reconciliation skills strongly preferred.Approximately 5% travel may be required in support of the position's responsibilities.Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to meet requirements and deadlines.Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate team to achieve results.
