Sr. Manager, Continuous Improvement

The Sr. Manager, Continuous Improvement is a key leadership position within the Operational Excellence and Innovation team. This role is responsible for driving process improvement initiatives across the organization, overseeing process improvement, and collaborating closely with departments throughout the organization. The Manager plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for operational enhancements, and ensuring the successful implementation of improvement initiatives.

This Is What You’ll Do:

Team Leadership and Management:

​​​Lead and manage a team of process improvement managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization through training, communication, and change management strategies.

Strategic Continuous Improvement Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities across various departments and functions.

Project Oversight and Execution:

Oversee the development and execution of process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Collaborate closely with the Manager, Analytics to vet proposed projects, ensuring a balanced evaluation of operational and financial impacts.

Performance Monitoring and Stakeholder Engagement:

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for process improvement initiatives.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to drive buy-in for improvement initiatives.

Reporting and Compliance:

Provide regular updates and presentations to the Director of Operational Excellence and Innovation on project progress, challenges, and successes.

Ensure that improvement initiatives are aligned with company standards, regulations, and operational excellence principles.

This Is What It Takes:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.

5+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or related fields required.

5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and large-scale improvement projects required.

Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and optimization methodologies required.

Strong knowledge of various process improvement methodologies and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping) required.

Proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools required.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results through process improvements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making required.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Proven track record of successfully implementing innovative solutions in a business environment.
