Minimum Requirements
International Motors, LLC is seeking a Technical Specialist in Lisle, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and 12 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies including 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies OR Master’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and 8 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies including 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies OR Phd in Engineering or Engineering Technology and 5 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies or specialized technologies including 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies. Required Skills: Use Calibration Development On Medium To Heavy Duty Vehicles to meet vehicle performance requirements, integrate advanced transmission shift logic and optimize vehicle driveability (5 yrs); Provide Automated Data Processing / analysis using MATLAB, Python, and Rust software tools (5 yrs); Apply Matlab / Simulink based Powertrain Controls to develop software for various vehicle control units, reduce errors during software development and reduce calibration time during vehicle development (5 yrs); Use INCA / ETAS development tools to communicate with vehicle control modules, measure data during vehicle testing and development, process data, make calibration changes during optimization phase of vehicle development and build and share calibration files (5 yrs). 25% travel required; Must live within normal commuting distance of Lisle, IL.
