The hiring range for this opportunity is $31.00 to $39.00 per hour along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Location: Chico or Roseville, CA. This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days minimum onsite.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible to coordinate the activities of the project team. Develop the Project Plan with the team and ensure project business objectives and expectations are clearly defined, and project tasks are identified, scheduled, and completed. Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsor, including requirements traceability and testing lifecycle. Responsible for communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work on projects or program components with moderate to high complexity, including support for Merger and Acquisition. Provide support to multiple business domains or products, partnering with teams to deliver value and achieve business objectives.
• Create and communicate solution visions, prioritizing business demands. Co-design and test high-value solutions with partners, considering technological constraints. Recommend alternative solutions, assess interdependencies and risks, and support decision-making to align project outcomes.
• Develop RFPs, analyze vendor responses, and conduct risk assessments.
• Identify opportunities for reusable enterprise artifacts.
• Communicate the value and trade-offs of new technologies to meet business goals.
• Evaluate new business ideas, vendors, and changes defining impacts and solutions. Translate business needs into capabilities and identify unique measurable value drivers. Collaborate with project teams to understand business impacts and identify measurable value.
• Adapt to ambiguity, resolving conflicts, issues, and risks to maintain project momentum.
• Communicate effectively and develop change plans to support projects and organizational objectives. Identify challenges to stakeholder buy-in and develop mitigation strategies. Consult to streamline processes and maximize efficiencies.
• Leverage best practices and lessons learned to best benefit the project
• Manage and communicate scope changes to key stakeholders.
• Influence prioritization to support iterative business value delivery.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintains a current understanding of Bank policies and procedures in compliance with all federal and state laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (SARs, CIP, OFAC), Information Security (GLBA), Identity Theft Red Flags, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, and any other applicable regulations that may be specific to your job duties.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED
• High school diploma or equivalent, required. College degree, preferred.
• 2 years of project experience, required, which may include Lean Six Sigma, RPA Process or Efficiency Mapping.
• 2 years of banking or related experience preferred.
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams while handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking skills and strong time management skills.
• Ability to identify, analyze and solve project issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
