The hiring range for this opportunity is $21.50 to $32.00 per hour along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
POSITION SUMMARY
Prepares and edits loan documents, analyzes signed loan documentation and funds loans according to the escrow instructions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and edit loan documents.
• Analyze signed loan documents for completeness and correctness.
• Review title company escrow instructions.
• Review all Homeowner’s Insurance and Flood Policies.
• Fund loans consistent with approved terms and conditions and escrow instructions.
• Review and approve all estimated and final Settlement Statements from Title to ensure accuracy.
• Package and deliver loans to all investors as required.
• Prepare the loan files for delivery to the Loan Center for filing.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintains a current understanding of established Tri Counties Bank policies and procedures including but not limited to regulations as they pertain to mortgage loans: SAFE Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Reg B), Truth in Lending (Reg Z), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Fair Housing Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), OFAC compliance, Identity Theft Red Flags, Unfair Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), privacy- Gramm-Leach Bliley Act (GLBA) and Non-public Personal Information (NPPI) regulations, and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA).
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ experience in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Good organization skills to accommodate involvement in multiple areas.
• Ability to utilize personal computers and Windows driven programs.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Experience with Encompass 360 preferred.
