Job Summary:
The Business Development Specialist isresponsible for identifying opportunities for specialties growth and for supporting the sales team with joint calls andproject development. This includes implementation of new marketing/salesstrategies and establishing effective internal and external networks. This roleworks closely with the sales to execute go to market strategies and develop newcustomer relationships to attain volume, revenue and GP targets. We are lookingfor someone with exposure to many types of formulations and customers with anaptitude for strong communication.
Job Description:
Implement market plans/projects to increase sales of specialties and gain market share in accordance to company goals and objectives.Develop, maintain, and review market information relative to products, by, and industry trends both domestic and international.Provide market support to PC customers including problem solving, market trend insights, regulatory insights and manufacturing problem solving.Act as a resource for PC team, interacting with sellers, IMMs, and North American formulation scientists.Act as a resource for non-technical or less technical sellers through joint sales calls.Assist in roll-out of new principal products and product lines to sales team providing joint call and technical support for these productsYOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
Minimum 7 years' experience in Chemical Manufacturing / Distribution or Related IndustryTechnical Sales / Formulation ExperienceExperience in selling/promoting active ingredients for personal care
