Account Manager Lubricants & Performance FluidsYOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary:
Facilitate value added support to our customers and develop new sales growth opportunities as technical expert in lubricants and additives. This individual will represent the company as technical sales subject matter expert for the Base Oil and Additive product line. Must be able to provide sales support to grow and support existing and new business, lead and work very closely with the technical community and customers.
Job Description:
Promote ExxonMobil, Infineum and Base Oil supplier's portfolio (Base oils, Lubricant and Fuel additives) and make product recommendations to customers, OEM's and formulators along with providing pricing to customer's Purchasing departments.Lead the sales relationship between Brenntag, ExxonMobil, Infineum and Base Oil suppliers.Support technical queries from customers through Brenntag Technical Support and suppliers.Assist and support joint sales calls to customer locations.Create sales forecasts and maintain a pipeline of opportunities.Maintain an up-to-date level of product, technical, and application knowledge.Effectively respond to changing market conditions that contributes to long term sustainability.Proactively develop and propose ways to address business challenges, emerging trends and opportunitiesTroubleshoot, perform root cause analysis and provide technical solutions, including product recommendations.Manage customer sales, sample requests and coordinate product technical support.Attend regional/international or internal technical meetings, as required.Carry out responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner that promotes diversity, safety, and equal treatment to other employees and customers.Demonstrate and facilitate open and honest communication with the department and with employees at all levels of the company while also communicating regularly within the company on appropriate matters.Additional: Qualifications
Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex technical solutions in an understandable and meaningful way.Excellent knowledge of Fuels and Lubricants additives and base oils.Ability to work effectively in a self-directed environment to achieve company goals.Ability to travel (local) on a regular basis.Ability to effectively leverage the skills and knowledge within Brenntag Base Oil and Additives to provide excellent customer service and technical support and drive continued sales growth.Excellent time-management skillsVery strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SalesforceAbility to convey passion and technical expertise when presenting Brenntag Lubricant's products and services.YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
