Position Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to help deliver projects in the renewable natural gas and wastewater treatment markets. This person will be responsible for coordinating the execution of capital sales projects and all the day to day activities of project execution.

ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the design/delivery of waste water and biogas treatment plants using various technologies and techniques. This includes reviewing P&IDs, equipment submittals, equipment and instrument lists, and control philosophy documentationManage the technical aspects of the procurement process and work with the purchasing team to ensure suppliers meet the needs of the needs of the projectManage the relationship with the clients and all project stakeholdersEnsure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budgetDevelop a detailed project plan to track progress and measure performance along the life of a projectCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationUse appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costEstablishing commissioning schedules of biogas treatment systemsAbility to travel to vendors and customer sites no more than 20% of the timeWork with third party vendors to specify and order process equipment, chemicals, and partsProviding support to the Sales department as neededProviding technical training at the request of internal departments and/or external partiesMaintain safe working practices while on customer sitesIn-depth command of a number of knowledge areas/technologies/techniquesResponsibility for implementation of and compliance with applicable US design standardsResponsibility (at department level) for the implementation of and compliance with the QHSE policyEducation requirements/skills/competenciesB.S. of Engineering Mechanical, Chemical, Biological, Electrical etc. Othertechnical backgrounds to be consideredRelevant practical experience (5 years minimum)Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project (or other)Experience in water and gas treatment preferredFamiliarity with US design standards for the RNG MarketKnowledge of relevant Safety DirectivesGreat communication skills. Language skills: written and spoken EnglishPractical, professional and result-oriented personalityCustomer-friendly approach and commercial affinityCapable of working as part of the team as well as independently
