Magna-Power Electronics, a Flemington, New Jersey based electronics manufacturer, is seeking a Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer to join its dedicated world class team.

The DevOps Software Engineer will play a critical role in managing and enhancing the company's software infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the performance, scalability, and security of our software and hardware systems, as well as integrating various platforms to support business operations. There will be significant hands-on training and interaction with various Magna-Power teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain virtual machine environments (VMs) using Proxmox.
Deploy, automate, and manage applications through Ansible, ensuring consistency and reliability.
Oversee the management and optimization of company databases, ensuring performance, backup, and security.
Integrate software systems through API development and management to facilitate communication between various platforms.
Develop and maintain custom screens for the company’s ERP system, improving the efficiency of internal processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure issues, providing support to various departments.
Design, deploy, and manage company networks and servers, ensuring high availability and security.
Collaborate with software development teams to enhance workflows using Jira and other project management tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (Proxmox or similar).
Proficiency in deployment automation tools such as Ansible.
Experience with database management and optimization.
Familiarity with API development and system integrations.
Knowledge of network and server deployment best practices.
Problem-solving mindset with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems and developing custom interfaces is a plus.
