GTA was incorporated in 1985 and currently has 24 offices throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast regions, serving residential, commercial, and industrial clients; public institutions; and local, state, and federal government agencies.
GTA is currently seeking a Construction Observation & Testing Project Manager (COT PM) for our Alliance, Ohio office. Candidates should have local experience in residential and commercial projects. A Bachelor's degree is a plus but not necessary if you have extensive, relevant and quality experience.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
Manage daily project schedule and post technician assignments
Coordinate Technician supervision and project quality control
Negotiate scope of work and fee schedule for projects
Assist in report and proposal preparation and marketing
Check daily reports, time sheets and mileage sheets for accuracy
Oversee maintenance of equipment and vehicles
Project Manager Experience/Requirements:
3 to 5 years of Construction Observation & Testing (COT) experience
Field/lab testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, structural steel
Good driving record, valid driver's license and your own vehicle
Materials Testing Certifications such as ACI, ICC, NCDOT, etc.
