Civil Litigation Paralegal/Secretary

to join our Las Vegas, NV-based legal team. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model, with occasional on-site work required. Ideal candidates will have experience in Construction Defect Litigation (developer representation) and General Casualty/Personal Injury, though recent litigation experience is essential.Key Responsibilities:Draft and edit legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materialsPrepare and submit documents for arbitration, mediation, and court proceedingsCompile and organize exhibits for federal and Nevada court submissionsCreate tables of authorities and contents for Nevada filingsMonitor attorney calendars, track filing deadlines, and assist with schedule managementProcess monthly expense reports for assigned attorneysCollaborate with billing department on monthly client invoicingTrack and support attorneys' continuing legal education and bar admission requirementsCoordinate travel arrangements for assigned attorneysAssemble document notebooks and proofread legal materialsConduct conflict checks and initiate new client engagementsMaintain current knowledge of assigned attorneys' cases and projectsHandle confidential and time-sensitive materials with discretionPerform additional administrative tasks as neededRequired Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in Construction Defect Litigation (developer representation) and General Casualty/Personal InjuryProficiency in legal terminology and proceduresExperience with electronic court filing systems, particularly Nevada state e-filingFamiliarity with document management systemsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, and OutlookAbility to create tables of contents and authorities for Nevada filingsKnowledge of state and federal court rules and filing proceduresTrial preparation experience is beneficialExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and proofreading abilitiesAdept at multitasking while maintaining work quality and meeting deadlinesEffective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced litigation environmentReliable, punctual, and professionalBenefits of Joining Lorber, Greenfield & Olsen, LLP:Collaborate closely with firm PartnersBonus OpportunitiesExcellent teams and work life balanceHybrid, Remote or In-Office Work ModelsGenerous Paid LeaveMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceLife InsuranceVision InsuranceLong Term DisabilityFlex Spending PlanAFLAC401K + Employer Match*We have Associate and Staff positions available in each of our 9 locations.
