Software Engineer II

This is a mid-level position that will contribute to a team effort in all aspects of software engineering including design, development, testing, and support. This position will also support project estimation and task delegation.
What you'll be handling
Serve as a subject matter technical expert and as an individual contributorCollaborate with project team members to deliver high quality and successful software implementations that meet the business goals of the customerWrite technical specifications for custom modificationsWrite C# and Java code to meet functional and technical specifications. Conduct code reviews and mentor team members for best practicesWrite and execute unit and integration test plans. Perform software functional tests using an equipment emulation modelProvide start-up and post go-live support to customer sites. Participate in the on-call rotationWhat you'll need
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience3 plus years of software engineering experience and experience with object oriented languages and design principles preferredFamiliarity with agile methods and practices preferredExperience in a relational database preferredUnderstanding of asynchronous and parallel programming techniques, and understanding of code optimization techniques required.Ability to travel up to 40% of the time on short notice, including international travel
