Continuous Improvement Manager
to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, minimize changeover times, and optimize overall manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough analyses of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights on potential improvement areas.Apply LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Utilize statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.Lead initiatives to reduce scrap and waste in the manufacturing process.Work closely with production teams to implement changes that enhance product quality and decrease material loss.Evaluate current changeover processes and develop strategies to minimize downtime during changeovers.Implement improvements to streamline changeover procedures and enhance operational efficiency.Analyze Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data to identify opportunities for improvement.Develop and implement strategies to maximize OEE and enhance equipment performance.Take ownership of improvement projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely completion and measurable results.Collaborate with various departments to secure resources and support for successful project execution.Provide training to employees on continuous improvement methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on continuous improvement.Strong background in LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies.Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and successfully implement projects.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Project management experience with a track record of delivering results.Understanding of SMED activities is plus#LI-JM2
