Key Objective(s):

The main role of the Visual Designer is:Be responsible for visually presenting the American Dream look and current trends through merchandising, windows, and in-center displays/activations.Primary Responsibilities:

Curate and arrange displays and promotional materials to create visually appealing displays that tell a story or convey a theme.Develop creative concepts for displays and promotional campaigns, ensuring that the design elements align with the brand's identity and messaging.Follow and enforce the brand's visual merchandising guidelines and standards to maintain consistency in all displays.Execute all designs from concept to display creating a memorable, visual experience for our guests.Set up and maintain displays, including changing out seasonal or promotional displays as needed, ensuring that displays are clean, organized, and well-maintained.Arrange all displays and fixtures.Maintain inventory levels needed to successfully execute displays and alterations.Maintain a neat, clean and organized work center.Execute operational processes effectively and efficiently.Order display supplies in preparation for upcoming visual designs.Desired Qualifications:

2+ years' experience in visual merchandising, preferably within a specialty or luxury retail and/or apparel brandBachelor's or associate degree in design or equivalent work experienceCoursework in merchandise planning, product merchandising, interior design, branding and marketing communications.Effective time management and logical decision-making ability; ability to prioritize work, maintain a positive attitude and composure in stressful situationsAbility to work swiftly to meet deadlines while keeping an orderly spaceTeam player: possess a strong work ethic balanced by good interpersonal skillsAgile learner with excellent attention to detailMust be receptive to feedbackVisual merchandising experience working in both retail and wholesale environmentsOther details
