Position Summary:
We are seeking a
Visual Designer
for a
hybrid
role with a
Financial Services client . This consultant position offers an exciting opportunity to create visual design solutions for complex product initiatives using composition, typography, and interaction models. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their visual design work and experience in developing user-centered deliverables. The role involves working independently with guidance from higher-level staff and managing multiple projects across various product categories. Top 5 Responsibilities: Develop and Recommend Visual Design Solutions : Create engaging, on-brand visual designs that drive user engagement and meet product goals. Assist with User Experience Goals : Define and contribute to visual engagement strategies and ensure designs align with user-centered principles. Manage Multiple Projects : Oversee design deliverables across a variety of projects under tight deadlines. Collaborate with Project Teams : Work with cross-functional teams to define the visual identity and ensure design solutions are effective throughout the development lifecycle. Create Style Guides and Design Best Practices : Apply design fundamentals such as color theory, typography, and accessibility to create comprehensive style guides and direct the team's use of design standards. Top 5 Technical Requirements: Design Fundamentals Knowledge : Strong understanding of color theory, typography, composition, and user-centered design practices. Project Management Experience : Ability to lead projects, manage timelines, resources, and ensure project success. Interaction and Visual Design Expertise : Proficient in interaction design, visual design, and applying industry standards to user interfaces. Advanced Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in Design Tools : Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or similar tools. Top 5 Soft Skills Required: Creativity and Innovation : Ability to conceptualize and create engaging visual solutions that enhance user experience. Attention to Detail : High level of precision in design work, ensuring that all deliverables are polished and of the highest quality. Collaboration and Teamwork : Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Time Management : Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
