We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Sales & Service Events Specialist to lead the development and execution of engaging events for our valued Smashville Loyal, Premium, and Corporate Partners. This Sales & Service Events Specialist is pivotal in managing client and team member event experiences, managing the Smashville Rewards loyalty program, and acting as a liaison between leadership and various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event management, excellent communication and organization skills, and be a strong collaborator.
Core Job Responsibilities:Smashville Loyal, Premium, and Partner Event Development and ManagementClient and Team Member Trip Logistics & ManagementSmashville Rewards Management & ExecutionLeadership LiaisonMajor Responsibilities/Activities:
Lead event management and development for Smashville Loyal, Premium, and Corporate Partner events.Conduct site visits and on-site meetings to assess and coordinate event logistics.Coordinate all guests experience details, including parking, arrival, programming, and departure for each planned event.Establish and maintain vendor relationships including but not limited to food and beverage, security, event night staff, sponsorship, ticket sales, facility operations to ensure high-quality event executionOversee overall event management, including all day-of-event operations such as on-site setup, vendor load-in, event communication, and coordination of event clean-up and tear-down.Work closely with the Marketing Team to execute annual featured events such as Smashville Loyal Fan Fest, Annual Team Event, NHL Draft Party, and others as assigned.Collaborate with Ticket Sales Leadership on executing a 12-month calendar of 20+ on-site and off-site events.Manage and execute ongoing premium and partner events, including Executive Power Play Dinners, Suite Menu Preview Event, Premium Member Golf Outing, Season Kick-Off, Holiday Celebration, and End of Season Celebration.Assist with internal and company-wide events including culture-building and sales contest events as well as company-wide initiatives in collaboration with GUIDER, Foundation, and Marketing teams.Lead efforts in building event communication and RSVP management for each assigned event.Oversee event budgets, including sourcing and purchasing bookings, rentals, food and beverages, gifts, and other event-related expenses.Collaborate with Premium and Partnership Leadership on client trips during in-season, playoffs/finals, and off-season periods.Serve as the liaison among leadership team members and stakeholders of the planned events and trips.Oversee the daily operations of the Smashville Rewards Program and FanMaker App platform to enhance the experience for Smashville Loyal members.Maintain strong interdepartmental relationships across the organization, including but not limited to Sales and Marketing staff, Hockey Operations, Guest Services, designated event managers, and Arena Operations.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:
Candidate must have three (3) years of relevant experience.Four-year (4) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.Strong existing client relationships and event experience required.Demonstrated ability to establish and cultivate long-lasting client relationships.Excellent people skills and an ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner with internal and external clients at all levels are a must.Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of service professionals.High level of initiative, inner drive and attention to detail.Candidate must have problem solving skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.Candidates must be able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.The selected candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Ability to work unsupervised, exercise sound judgment and decision-making, and to function both independently and as a team member.Possess a valid driver's license, possess a suitable driving history and be insurable by the Nashville Predators' insurance carrier.As a condition of employment, qualified applicant will be subject to a background check, including criminal history, character references, previous employment verification and driving history.Essential Physical Functions:
