General Purpose:
The Director of Security and Buildings will oversee and manage security and maintenance for the Cobbs Creek Golf Campus. This includes overseeing contracted services such as trash, elevator, boiler, HVAC, window cleaning, and security for the TGR Learning Lab, Driving Range Building, Restaurant, Clubhouse, Golf House, Cart Barn, and Maintenance Building.
$85,000 - $95,000 per year
Essential Duties:Conducts regular security assessments and audits.Coordinates 24/7 security of all buildings on the campus.Maintains emergency response plans and ensures all employees are informed of their roles and responsibilities.Maintain strong relationships with law enforcement and security vendors to enhance security measures and response to incidents.Manage access control systems, surveillance equipment and other security technologies to ensure proper function and effectiveness.Ensures cleanliness of the entire facility.Manages contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facility and grounds.Oversees operation of mechanical and power equipment used on the Campus.Coordinates exterior property cleaning and maintenance in accordance with company standards.Implements policies and procedures for the department, including compliance of all company standards relating to quality of products and services.Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs for department.Communicates any changes or new policies and procedures to the department.Education/Experience:
Associates (AA) degree; or two to three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in managing personnel.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks and sits; regularly uses hands, reaches with arms and hands, talks and hears; sometimes climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, pushes, and pulls; regularly lifts 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions; occasionally works in wet or humid (non-weather) conditions; occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles; toxic, or caustic chemicals. The noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
Relevant professional certifications in security management, knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management, other applicable mechanical/equipment licenses (Boiler, HVAC etc).
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences
Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).Prior law enforcement experience or knowledge of law enforcement environments.Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
