We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager for the instrument focused portfolio at Bio-Techne. The role will report into the Sr. Director of Product Marketing and will be responsible to expand market penetration of key instruments and related consumables for our Cellular Analysis and ImmunoAssay portfolios. Responsibilities will include development and execution of high-growth go-to-market campaigns, demand generation programs and building awareness of both Bio-Techne and our instrument product lines.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the life science research market along with exceptional skills in market development.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build and execute high-impact go-to-market (GTM) campaigns/programs to drive revenue growth for our instrument portfolio in key customer segments like immuno-oncology, cell and gene therapy, neuroscience and drug development.
Develop and execute marketing programs for licensing and commercial supply of relevant product categories within Protein Sciences Segment that aligns with business strategies.
Lead the development and execution of strategic multi-channel integrated marketing plans to acquire and convert new customers and engage, retain, and grow existing customers.
You will be the global product and market expert, providing in-depth knowledge of market trends and dynamics, competitive landscape, and critical market success factors.
Collaborate with key cross-functional partners (Product Management, Brand, Marcom) to ensure alignment of marketing plans for new products and on-market product improvements.
Collaborate with product management and scientific applications teams to develop and promote high-value content including testimonials, seminars, webinars, posters, and sales tools for new and existing products.
Formulate and implement marketing strategies at the portfolio level, executing programs to boost brand awareness and demand generation.
Develop relevant content across the marketing funnel; deploy via multiple channels that align with customer journeys.
Maintain campaign/program KPI and metrics dashboards, perform pipeline analysis and analyze demand generation trends regularly reporting on the effectiveness of marketing activities. Adjust tactics as needed to maximize performance.
Manage marketing budgets and optimize the promotional mix on campaigns/programs to achieve a high return on investment.
Develop and deliver product launch toolkits that provide impactful new product messaging and education to our commercial teams, including product training, positioning, key messaging, and customer facing materials.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related discipline, advanced degree or MBA preferred.
5-10 years of experience in the life sciences industry with at least 3 years in a product marketing function.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Able to develop and communicate the unique value and promise that Bio-Techne products offer to life science research customers.
Able to understand, integrate and synthesize insights across customers, competitors, business areas and markets to inform customer-centric campaigns for our instrument portfolio.
Able to develop and execute multi-channel customer-centric marketing programs to achieve business objectives.
Experience in developing successful lead generation initiatives using multi-channel strategies to drive funnel fulfillment.
Able to work effectively in a fast growing, highly collaborative environment.
Demonstrated ability to get things done, build consensus, resolve conflict, and solve tough business problems, working in concert with others.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and relationship building skills at all organizational levels.
