Our client, a monitoring software company for the defense and aerospace industry, is looking for a Software & System Test Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be experienced owning test environments and hands on physical systems experience, have an in depth understanding of virtual machines, and can test soft cyber security. Tech wise, looking for people with JIRA, DOORS, RQM, Python and PowerShell scripting, TEST COMPLETE, Jenkins, C#, .Net, Oracle SQL, VMWare, and Trellics (McAfee). Understanding networking components and SCADA is a plus. Basic knowledge of Kanban software development methodology and waterfall project lifecycle is also nice to have. This is a 6 month contract to hire. Primarily onsite in Carrolton. $50-60/hr. Required Skills & ExperienceExperience testing software applications, cybersecurity, and systems.Experience working with IBM Rational DOORS and Rational Quality Management.Experience testing virtualized environments (preferably VMware).Experience doing hands on system configurations.Hands on physical systems and hardware experience.Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor's or master's degree or related certifications nice to have.Experience working with Trellics (McAfee) security a plus.The Offer
