What you do: Under minimal supervision, work on all phases of the audit process including consultative projects. Performs routine to complex assignments within the context of audit engagements including the following: identify and evaluate risk, develop audit programs, execute complex audit program steps, identify and communicate issues, provide recommendations for improvements in efficiency and effectiveness, and provide written and oral feedback relative to the engagement. Works with Management in developing action plans to ensure identified risks are effectively mitigated. Develop business acumen as assigned. Shares information related to the areas of expertise. You will report to the Director of Internal Audit.

Review business processes and Draft audit programs to effectively test the design and operational effectiveness of the system of internal controlsPerform complex audit activities, as assignedIdentify and communicate issues and provide recommendations for improvements of the internal control environmentCollaborate with management on the development of action plans to ensure risks are mitigated appropriately and follow-up to completion.Serve as key contact between the business and internal audit and develop executive presenceAct as IT technical advisor to audit team members

What you bring:

6-7 years' experience in IT audit or as IT consultant required including working in a corporate setting with a minimum of 2 years of Audit or insurance industry related experience requiredStrong and broad IT skills (operating system, database, networks, information security and related security tools, web technology, programming, software deployment, general IT controls, IT governance)Some project management and/or people leadership experienceBachelor's degree required
