Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Sev1Tech is looking for a Project Control Analyst (Mid-Level) to join our team. You will participate in the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of performance on task orders and projects of varying contract type, size, complexity and level of risk. You will be a key member of the program team, helping to define the project's or task order's goals and objectives and recommending actions to improve progress and performance. You will interface with Program, Project, and Task Order Managers, senior technical staff, as well as other functional organizations including contracts, finance, and HR.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis supportDevelop Work Breakdown Schedules (WBS)s, Basis of Estimate (BOE)s, and time-phased budgets and schedulesSet up projects in compliance with contractual terms, conditions and requirementsDevelop and maintain project/task order staffing plans and budgetsMonitor staffing plans and budgets, flagging issues and risks and working with Program Managers, Contracts, Procurement, and Finance/Accounting to avoid, mitigate, resolve themReview and assess contract modifications, advising managers of impactsMonitor hours and costs on a weekly basis, ensuring they are charged to the correct job numberPrepare and review cost reports and supporting documentationSupport security clearance requests, tracking, and reportingSupport Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) trackingSupport Internal Program Review (IPR) presentation preparation for managementPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degreeFour (4) to six (6) years of Project Control experience on a federal contract, focused on cost and schedule supportExperience working with multiple government contract types including FFP, FPI, FPLOE, T&M, CPAF, CPFF, CPIF, and hybridCost and scheduling expertiseExpertise in Excel, Project, and other MS Office suite productsExcellent organizational skills, including ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrentlyStrong attention to detail and qualityRecord of meeting deadlines consistentlyStrong analytical skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work effectively as a member of a team and independentlyStrong customer service focusExperience using an EPR systems such as Deltek (Costpoint); SAP; UnanetAbility to obtain a Public Trust clearanceThis position will typically be located in either Colorado Springs, CO, Stennis, MS, Chandler, AZ, National Capitol Region (NCR) or Remote where applicable. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications, appropriate clearance level, and are geographically aligned (or the ability to relocate) will be considered first.
