Westinghouse is seeking an Associate Business Process Analyst for a 12+ month contract assignment supporting our nuclear client in Salt Lake City.
In this fully proficient role, the incumbent analyzes business problems to be solved with automated systems.
Provides technical guidance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.Configures system settings and options.Executes unit, integration and acceptance testing and assists in creating specifications for systems to meet business requirements.Designs details of automated systems.Maintains knowledge of evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives or enhancements.Prepares communications and makes presentations on system alternatives or enhancements.Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data.Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost.Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes.May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements.
