This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices and methodologies to achieve strategic goals.Essential Job Functions:Process Analysis and Improvement:Conduct thorough analyses of current processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Establish problem statements and facilitate six sigma projects using FMEA, Pareto Analysis, Process Maps and Excel tools. Utilize data-driven approaches to assess performance metrics and root causes of issues.Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.Project Management:Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of project objectives.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and foster collaboration.Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to stay on track.Methodology and Tools:Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to drive process enhancements.Utilize various tools and techniques (e.g., value stream mapping, root cause analysis) to identify and address process gaps.Training and Development:Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement principles, tools, and techniques.Foster a culture of continuous learning and encourage staff to actively participate in improvement initiatives.Performance Measurement:Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.Analyze performance data and generate reports to communicate progress and results to senior management.Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs and gather feedback on improvement efforts.Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate the successful implementation of improvement initiatives.Change Management:Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and practices.Address resistance and challenges to change, providing support and guidance throughout the transition.RequirementsMinimum Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.Minimum of 3+ years of work experience which demonstrates exposure to change management and lean implementation required. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC Approach, & Kaizen).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Proficiency in using relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, project management software).Individual must be authorized to work in the U.S. under one of the following criteria: 1. A citizen of the United States, 2. A lawful permanent resident, 3. A non-citizen National of the United States.
