Job Description
The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
This role will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement, developing, and implementing improvement plans, and monitoring and reporting
on the progress of these initiatives. Provides one-on-one coaching to managers and leaders to support lean effectiveness and development.
Drive and foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework,
to deliver business transformation. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste,
increase efficiency, and drive profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Analyze and identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and increased efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement improvement plans.
• Monitor and report on the progress of improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track improvement progress.
• Provide leadership and training to employees on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
• Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient processes.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
• Develops and tracks metrics related to improvement activities; and promotes standard processes, improved flow, waste elimination, and support management for daily improvement activities.
• Directs and facilitates the ongoing lean improvement process with techniques such as Kaizen, 5'S, TPM, and Kanban.
Job Requirements
:
• Bachelor or a similar degree with an emphasis in manufacturing or equivalent preferred with full working knowledge of Lean Concepts with demonstrated success.
• Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Proven analysis and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome.
• Strong change management skills to include the practical implementation of Lean Manufacturing Principles and Concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills at both strategic and functional levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and plan time and people effectively and efficiently.
• A minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Minimum accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

• Project Management: Experience managing projects from initiation to completion, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource management
• Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, casting, and fabrication.
• Quality Management: Experience with quality management systems.
