The Human Resources Analyst position is responsible for performing HR functions such as administering and providing guidance on employee benefits and leave and disability programs, including, but not limited to, paid time off, leave without pay, short-term disability, FMLA, processing employee transactions, assisting and/or managing onboarding and offboarding, HR data management, and other human resource functions. This position provides guidance and assistance to all Judicial system employees regarding benefits and leave to ensure compliance with State and departmental policies and procedures.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Receives, organizes, and prepares new employee files for processing • Organizes, files, and tracks employee records and documentation • Processes all HR-related transactions • Administers/manages benefits, including, but not limited to, health benefits, leave, and disability • Facilitates onboarding and offboarding of Judicial System employees • Generates periodic reports as requested/needed • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or GED • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software • Ability to quickly learn payroll functions, human resource information systems (HRIS), and other pertinent applications
Preferred Qualifications/Experience: • Two-three years of relevant work experience
