Job Summary

The Field Coordinator, reporting to the Program Specialist and Program Manager, plays a crucial role in supervising, coordinating, and enhancing the successful implementation of expanded learning programs (ELO-P). This role involves providing leadership support to group leaders at multiple school sites, ensuring program excellence, fostering collaboration, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The Field Coordinator will contribute to administrative tasks, program development, safety enforcement, and communication strategies, creating a positive and enriching environment for staff, students, parents, and the program.

Essential Functions

Supervision and Leadership SupportObserve and guide site leaders and group leaders to ensure the effective execution of age-appropriate program activities.Lead the implementation of Six (6) California Quality Standards and facilitate continuous program enhancement.Provide guidance to site leaders and group leaders, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.Organize and facilitate necessary staff training sessions to improve program execution.Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and district personnel, exemplifying strong relationship-building skills.Provide oversight and support to staff and sites as needed while participating in relevant staff development training.Administrative and Program Development

Support and supervise Group Leads at the site, conducting observations, and providing feedback and support.Complete daily/weekly attendance audits, schedules, and reports.Recruit and interview candidates for various program positions.Collaborate in designing and scheduling program activities, including field trips, events, and family nights.Work with administrative and school site leader(s) to maintain, build, and develop a safe and effective program that adheres to TCF and District expectations.Assist in creating lesson plans that complement school day learning models and maintain daily activity logs.Conduct monthly meetings with sites, school administrators, and TCF managers to ensure proper communication, providing program overviews, updates, or concerns.Act as a liaison between schools, parents, and the program, addressing concerns related to performance and effectiveness.Manage attendance and participation records for audits and reporting purposes.Complete weekly site recaps and implement training sessions as needed.Safety and Communication

Ensure adherence to TCF policies, including medical procedures, disciplinary actions, and emergency protocols.Establish and enforce rules and procedures to promote positive student behavior.Cultivate a secure and nurturing learning environment for all students.Maintain proactive communication with supervisors regarding program operations.Create a communication system between Site Coordinators and parents for performance updates and program changes.Exhibit professionalism and sound judgment in interactions to maintain a positive program atmosphere.Additional Responsibilities

Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the supervisor, recognizing that the role may evolve to include new tasks introduced by the company.Job Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge/Experience/RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageMust have at least 48 semester college units or successful completion of the Paraeducator examTB test clearanceMust pass DOJ/FBI criminal background checkMust be punctual and reliableMust have experience working with youth and general knowledge base of core elementary subjects.Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with staff, students, parents, and community partnersLicense/Certification/Clearance
