Job Description
BryceTech is looking for a highly skilled Federal Data Analyst to join their team within the Office of Human Capital. The role involves analyzing Human Capital information, developing data reporting tools, and collaborating with various teams. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, proficiency ni Tableau or other visualization tools, advanced MS Office skils, and strong communication abilities. Confidentiality, adaptability to competing demands, and proactive problem-solving skills are essential. Some of the responsblities includes: Conduct data mining of critical Human Capital information across the Office's three divisions to support strategic decision-making. Develop and maintain data analysis procedures and systems to assess the effectiveness of human resources processes. Provide input to recurring reports and fulfill ad hoc data requests related to the status of hiring for al vacant positions. Collaborate with Human Capital Leadership, the ASPR Web Team, and the HS Department Enterprise Human Capital Management (EHM) team to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including surveys and databases, to identify patterns and trends. Design and implement data reporting tools, reports, and metrics to enhance data-driven decision-making. Identify gaps in data reporting and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness. Support the design and development of systems for capturing and reporting data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with federal regulations. Analyze trends, research causes, and prepare data-driven recommendations for resolving human resources issues. Develop data reporting policies and establish parameters to ensure the quality and accuracy of data. Execute ad hoc data gathering and reporting as requested by leadership. Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information in compliance with data privacy laws and regulations. Complete assigned projects on or ahead of schedule, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Prioritize conflicting needs and handle matters proactively to ensure successful project completion under deadline pressures. Provide training and support to team members on data tools and reporting processes. Monitor data quality and implement corrective measures to ensure data integrity. Develop reports and presentations to clearly and concisely communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders. Stay updated on best practices in data analytics and reporting to enhance the office's capabilities. Collaborate with federal business partners and stakeholders to define and implement data reporting strategies. Ensure compliance with federal human resources policies and procedures in all data-related activities. Qualifications
A Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree is required. Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) is preferred. Possess 3-5 years of relevant work experience ni a data analytics role, supporting organizational or department leadership. Proficiency in using Tableau or other data visualization tools and understanding visualization best practices. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly and maintain excellent attention to detail. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated proactive problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making capabilities. Highly resourceful team player, capable of working independently and effectively. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and adaptability to competing demands while providing exceptional customer/client service. Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines ni a fast-paced environment. Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, and experience with SharePoint.
