A week in the life of a Subject Matter Expert - Technical PM :Provide technical and management leadership on major technology assignmentsEstablish goals and plans to meet assessment objectivesPossess expert technical knowledge of various technologies used by Law Enforcement domainsDefine performance objectives andperformance levelsUnderstandand describeanomalies/flaws in decision-making of application development or acquisitionValidate requirements and deliverables of products and services that projects/programs produceResolve issues regarding program deliverables of various law enforcement technologies

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. 12+ years of experience in IT or Engineering fieldBachelor's degree in STEM fieldDHS suitability clearanceExperience with Department of Homeland SecurityExperience in systems engineering, acquisition, test and evaluation, sustainmentUnderstanding of Systems acquisition lifecycle (e.g., ALF and MD-102).Familiarity with IEEE standard 1012, IEEE Standard 829-1998, and the DHS SELC.Excellent writing, communications, and briefing skills.Certifications from DAU and DAWIA in Acquisition or test and evaluation
