Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for a contract opportunity with a nursing facility in Ohio on a as needed basis. The ideal LPNs will be required to assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.

Requirements:Ohio LicenseRegistered with the Ohio Board of NursingCPR CertificationKnowledge of skilled licensed practical nursing procedures, pharmacology, patient care, first-aid, general hospital practices & procedures;
Responsibilities:Administering nursing care within a set forth scope of practice, includng administering oxygen, applying sterile dressing, etcAssisting in emergencies by administering first-aid, performing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, restraining patientsMaintaining medication accountability records (e.g., charts patient records, prepares & counts medication,etc )Observing, documenting & reporting patient conditions and preparing &/or maintaining related reports & recordsProviding general nursing, direct care &/or programming assistanceProviding work direction, orientation & training to lower-level direct care staff in providing general unskilled nursing care (e.g., dressing)Orders medication & medical supplies; cleans nurses station & medication room/medication cart performs some clerical tasks
