Job Summary
The Education Programs Coordinator applies acquired skills, processes, and policy knowledge to support professional health education program learners.
This person coordinates program operations, which include teaching and learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, maintaining databases, tracking learner compliance, and program accreditation. This position is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the education programs. This requires excellent judgment and the ability to make quick yet judicious decisions affecting trainees and faculty regularly.
The activities/programs for which the position is responsible, move at a very fast pace, and administrative decisions for the programs are required on the spot. This position takes day-to-day direction from multiple sources and flexibility is paramount for success in this position.
This position will assist with the medical student rotations, independent interventional radiology fellowship, clinical fellowships, and staff educational programs in the Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging, which involves curricular planning, data/research, and course administration.
Responsibilities will include assisting program administrators, program directors, and trainees in curriculum planning, evaluations, accreditation compliance, expense reimbursements, and day-to-day office administration.
The primary role will be to serve as the compliance coordinator for ACGME and GME requirements for trainees and programs.

Department Description
The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is one of the largest departments in the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
The mission of the Department includes patient care, teaching and research. The Department operates across seven sites in San Francisco.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.Minimum of one year of related experience.Basic knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research. Acquiring skills in developing and implementing processes and systems. Familiarity with the administrative and operational implications in a program.Communication skills; includes verbal, written and active listening. Service oriented and responsive to questions and requests. Ability to interact in a professional, resourceful, and courteous manner.Demonstrated interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships within department and with learners.Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to work with extremely complex faculty calendars / schedules requires extremely well organized and detail oriented precision.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements. Basic knowledge of health professions education industry.Knowledge of educational technology and systems. Ability to troubleshoot and triages related technology issues.
