As part of this commitment, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic and passionate candidate, eager to contribute to our continued success through the following employment opportunity:About the RoleThis Financial Planning & Analysis lead role is responsible for developing and enhancing key managerial planning, reporting, and analytics to support the CFO and stakeholders including the Board, Shareholder, Management Committee, Finance Leadership Team, and other business divisions. Works closely with Finance and Accounting colleagues and other business leaders to develop, maintain, and analyze integrated business reporting and analysis across AUM, Revenues, Workforce Planning, various expenditure areas, and margins. Partners to support strategic planning and integrated business line and Firmwide modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning working with members of the Finance Leadership Team. Leverages tools and teamwork to accelerate timeliness and insight of FP&A deliverables.Structured as a “hub and spoke” approach to leverage deeply embedded subject matter expertise, this position is by design an individual contributor that requires a highly collaborative approach and an extensive FP&A experience base. Success entails building strong partnerships across the accounting and finance leadership team and subject matter experts in finance/accounting as well as with colleagues in other business areas. Leverages existing data and processes to develop seamless, timely, and impactful managerial reporting, modeling, analytics, and decision support deliverables.Critical skills include complex business modeling and analytics, executive-level business reporting, proven professionalism to interact with senior business leaders and peers, and experience in the development and delivery of standardized/repeatable business division reporting, scorecards, business unit goal tracking, and trend analytics. Technical skills require proven experience with planning and modeling tools including Excel and Anaplan (or similar planning software) and solid financial accounting skills. Experience in leveraging automated reporting tools (such as PowerBi) would be a plus. Equally important to technical skills, it is critical the role brings: proven analytical skills, effective communications for varied formats and senior audiences, a highly collaborative work-style, ability to effectively navigate ambiguity, and a natural tendency toward strategic thinking and insightful financial analysis. Project management experience is also essential to support this highly autonomous role with varied deliverables and stakeholders. Strong leadership, professional judgment, and interpersonal and communication skills are all necessary; soft skills are critical to being effective in the role.About the TeamThis role is a member of a 25-person finance team, which includes peers across accounting, external reporting, benefits, payroll, incentive compensation, pricing, treasury, billing, and financial systems.
