We are seeking an experienced and skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal components according to specifications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets and plates into precise shapes and angles.

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine accurate machine setup, bending sequences, and tooling requirements.

Adjust press brake machine settings and select the appropriate dies and punches for each job.

Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards, using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.

Troubleshoot and make adjustments to machine settings to correct issues and optimize production output.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake equipment to ensure smooth operation.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain production efficiency and resolve any issues.

Move materials to and from the press brake machine, ensuring proper placement in storage or staging areas.

Complete necessary production records and logs accurately and in a timely manner.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace according to 5S standards.

Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.

Assist in other production tasks as needed or assigned by supervisors.

Skills/Qualifications:

Press Brake Expertise: Hands-on experience setting up and operating press brake machines, including knowledge of tools, dies, and bending operations.

Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.

Measurement Skills: Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot press brake and fabrication issues quickly and effectively.

Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of machinery and equipment used in metal fabrication.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when setting up, measuring, and inspecting parts.

Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work well with others to meet production targets and troubleshoot issues.

Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform calculations for bend allowances, material thickness, and machine settings.

Safety Awareness: Strong understanding and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
