Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to the Testing team and Organization.Architect, develop, and maintain an innovative test automation system for the organization.Define automated test criteria, design & develop the organization's Test Automation framework and develop automated tests for all functionality that meets specified automation criteria.Work closely with the application architects to develop a solid testing solution, working towards the future state of the application architecture.Lead complex test automation efforts using Cucumber/Selenium and Java for large Agile software projects and identify innovative solutions to solve complex test problems.Work collaboratively in a team-based Agile environment with other technical staff, business owners, and subject matter experts, following the industry standard Scrum and SAFe methodologies.Assist in the training/mentoring of team members, including testers, developers, and business analysts, and implement organization-wide Quality Process initiatives to ensure Quality of deliverables.Communicate automation goals, priorities, and status across the organization.Define Behavior Driven Development approach and tools for Automated Testing in an Agile project.Partner with Agile Release Train to plan for new functionality, resolve defects, and incorporate error injection test methodologies.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline and 7 years of applied work experience OR Master's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience OR a minimum of 11 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.6 years of experience with automation testing, developing and executing automated test scripts using Automated Testing Tools (such as Selenium, Cucumber etc.).3 years of hands-on experience using Selenium and Cucumber.1 year of experience architecting, developing, and maintaining an innovative test automation environment including automation test framework design and development.2 years of experience with agile development (preferably SAFe), test-driven development, advanced concepts of scrum, and knowledge of agile project tools, such as VersionOne.Minimum of 1 year of experience in analyzing metrics, identifying dysfunctions, and making recommendations to senior management.
