Position Summary:
The Senior Director of Technology at LGM Pharma will be responsible for all technology strategies and operations across the organization. This role involves directing and leading all functions of the IT department, including internal staff, contractors, and technology vendors. The Senior Director will evaluate, plan, and coordinate activities associated with technology to ensure high performance across all systems and platforms. Serving as the technology subject matter expert, this role will collaborate with all departments to advance LGM Pharma's technological capabilities and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, manage and foster a high-performing and collaborative IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
Lead, develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy and roadmap in alignment with LGM Pharma’s business goals and efforts to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Oversee all technology operations, including IT infrastructure, software solutions, and hardware/equipment management; conduct system audits to evaluate needs and recommend compliant solutions; manage and customize ERP systems.
Develop, manage, and test backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity and safeguard critical information.
Conduct regular internal audits and gap analyses of IT systems, processes, and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement; implement enhancements where needed.
Document and maintain all IT systems, processes, and procedures meticulously to ensure clarity and consistency for internal and external audits.
Collaborate with various departments across LGM to ensure seamless integration of technology throughout the product lifecycle and ensure all systems provide accurate data.
Generate and maintain partnerships for vendor management and contract negotiations, ensuring optimal value and service levels.
Develop and implement information security policies to protect and ensure LGM Pharma’s applications, data, and infrastructure complies with regulatory requirements including FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines.
Participate in IT budget preparation and manage technology investments efficiently.
Communicate technology strategies, initiatives, and progress to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
Establish technology service levels and processes to meet them, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Stay informed of new IT developments and trends in the industry, making recommendations to maintain LGM Pharma’s competitive edge.
Leverage industry standards such as ITIL or COBIT for governance of technology operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PhD) is preferred.
10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry and contract development and manufacturing.
Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP, or other information security qualifications are highly desirable.
Extensive experience managing and customizing ERP systems, particularly SAP, including customizations and enhancements to support business processes.
Expertise in IT infrastructure, pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, automation systems, data analytics, and digital technologies.
Proven experience in developing and managing comprehensive backup and disaster recovery plans.
Strong skills in conducting internal audits, performing gap analyses, and implementing corrective measures.
Leadership experience in building and managing IT teams, with a proven ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing the pharmaceutical industry, including FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines.
Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and technology projects at scale.

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactical plans on a day-to-day basis.
Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business terms.

Knowledge of developing and managing B2B API solutions, network configurations, LMS systems, and cybersecurity measures.
Strong negotiating skills that lead to collaborative solutions.
Leadership experience to effectively manage the IT team.
Leverage industry standards such as ITIL or COBIT for ensuring governance of technology operations.
Work Requirements & Environment:
Standard office equipment provided.
Office environment in a multi-story building.
Occasional night and weekend work hours.
