ResponsibilitiesThe Division of Endocrinology in Rochester is seeking a candidate for a full-time faculty position committed to clinical and academic excellence in diabetes, nutrition, and obesity with the desire to work in clinical practice. The opportunity also has potential to conduct clinical research especially clinical trials.At Mayo Clinic you will find:A multidisciplinary, integrated specialty care clinic where patients receive services in the outpatient and inpatient setting with close partnership with diabetes educators, advanced practice clinicians, dietitians, psychologists, gastroenterologists, and bariatric surgeons. This integrated care model fosters close working relationships of non-operative and surgical colleagues encouraging dialogue, leveraging experience and innovation.An atmosphere that fosters on-site collaboration with multiple specialists that focuses on teamwork and integrity that increases staff satisfaction and promotes high quality care for patients.Robust resources and allotted time that provides support to those interested in research or education endeavors.Involvement in educational activities including supervision of trainees including medical students, residents and fellows.
QualificationsCandidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Endocrinology and eligible for a Minnesota state medical license.
