During the 2020 pandemic, we have been recognized as a regional leader in COVID care and testing.Job DescriptionUniversity Health Physicians and University Health is currently seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our medical staff in providing psychiatric services in a medical inpatient hospital setting.This position will work as leader of a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatry residents, medical students, and medical social workers. Other duties will include providing coverage at either of our two adult inpatient psychiatric hospitals and leading a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatry residents, medical students, psychologists, nurses, recreational therapists, and medical social workers. Participation in hospital-based committees and providing lectures to other medical specialties is encouraged.The qualified candidate will have graduated from an accredited medical school and completed a residency in psychiatry (experience in psychosomatic medicine preferred, but not required).UHP provides a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.
