Physician Assistants (PAs) will collaborate with Cornell faculty to care for patients in geriatrics, digestive diseases, rehabilitation, vascular conditions, neurology, and oncology, many of whom come from around the world. The Department of Internal Medicine alone admits over 20,000 patients each year, providing a diverse range of cases and medical conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of cases, including adult inpatients who require pre- and post-operative care, as well as general acute care and specialty services. Our case mix index is one of the highest, and our measured outcomes rank among the best in the nation.Hospitalist Physician Assistant (PA) Team | Full-Time, NightsJoin our expanding, autonomous team as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant (PA). You will help support a new, PA-led hospitalist medicine service that covers patients in the inpatient rehab unit, med-psych unit, and non-teaching hospitalist service. Night Hospitalist PAs will also conduct admission history and physicals (H&Ps) for these units and will serve as the primary providers, receiving clinical support from hospitalist physicians.This position will work three 12.5 hour rotating night shifts per week. Rotating weekend and holiday coverage required.
