State Street Secured Financing is a core business unit within State Street Global Markets (“SSGM”). Acting in a principal capacity, Secured Financing provides secured investment and financing solutions, primarily through repurchase agreement (repo) trading services as well as through secured fund financing facilities. These structures provide a scalable offering that serves a broad range of buy-side clients.
Secured Financing is a global program, predominantly driven by the FICC sponsored member repo platform that allows clients to borrow or invest cash through the US Treasury repo market, but is also expanding globally to other CCPs as well as alternative intermediation structures that facilitate peer-to-peer execution. Secured financing facilities provide various custody clients access to committed leverage, financed via our agency lending business. Secured Financing has been an evolving business for over seven years, has a global client base, continues to experience exponential growth, and is currently one of the fastest growing products within State Street.
SSGM seeks a dynamic executive to lead the Secured Financing organization globally. This role involves leading a team of professionals, responsibility for financial budgets, developing strategic plans, and fostering client relationships to drive sustained business growth. This individual will report directly to the Head of Financing Solutions and work closely with the SSGM senior leadership team while collaborating with cross-business and cross-organizational support functions (e.g., Treasury, Risk, Institutional Services, Segments/Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance).

What you will be responsible forAs Head of Secured Financing, Senior Vice President you will develop and drive the execution of the Secured Financing strategy, generating alpha for clients while achieving revenue, expense, and return on capital targets:
Be responsible for a material global revenue / NII budget
Leads, mentors, and manages a high-caliber growing team across North America, EMEA, and APAC
Fosters a performance culture that encourages innovation and collaboration
Develops and implements strategic plans, including identification of new business opportunities
Works closely with other senior executives to execute strategy, product and geographic expansion efforts, and scalable technology and operating model solutions
Develops strategic relationships with key client contacts and ensures State Street is viewed as an integral, long-term partner
Delivers highly valued solutions to clients, ensuring comprehensive and consistent delivery of services as their needs evolve
Monitors market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry
Develops financial budgets and drives global execution against clearly defined revenue, expense, and NIBT metrics and milestones
Creates a risk culture that ensures compliance with applicable regulatory provisions, internal and external audit reviews, and overall risk controls
Provides regular updates and reports to senior management on the division’s performance
Represents State Street in key industry forums relating to repo, clearing, and securities finance

Salary Range:$225,000 - $337,500 Annual
