We're seeking a proactive and skilled Platform Engineer to play a crucial role in enhancing the reliability, scalability, and performance of our platform. Promote best practices and standards across the engineering teams to ensure high reliability and performance of the platform.Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to enhance platform reliability and scalability, aligning with business objectives and driving technical excellence.Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems and infrastructure to support our platform’s growth and scalability.Implement and improve our CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and alerting systems to enhance the platform's stability and performance.Document and track system performance, incidents, and resolutions, producing detailed technical reports and dashboards.Formulate plans and provide guidance on backend architecture, deployment strategies, and reliability improvements.Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 platform reliability and rapid response to incidents.Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Platform or Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or a similar role.Strong experience in backend development using languages such as Python, JavaScript/Typescript.Strong understanding of API design and implementation.Strong competency in SQL.Proficiency with CI/CD tools and frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools and frameworks such as Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, or Prometheus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on long-term solutions.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Working Arrangements:
