About the Team
The Website Merchandising Team is responsible for delivering a superior site experience for the customer by using data and customer insights to deliver easy, inspiring product discovery and helpful, intuitive, content-rich product pages.
About the Role
This position is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the online merchandising programs on our website. They will propose and implement merchandising strategies online, and collaborate across departments to execute regular product launches.
Responsibilities
Maintain a best-in-class, inspiring, friction-free, and product-accurate website experience for our Upholstery department.
Perform and maintain competitive website analysis, keep abreast of market trends and eCommerce trends to drive site optimization activities in collaboration with Manager and other stakeholders.
Create and own detailed product roadmaps, working collaboratively to complete and update with strategy shifts.
Partner closely with image rendering team, acting as primary point of contact for departmental data needs.
Responsible for coordinating cross-functional work activity and user acceptance testing for regular product launches, and ensuring all activities are completed to meet critical deadlines.
Execute seasonal and ad-hoc product setup activities in web content management systems.
Work with large datasets in Excel to complete daily and ad-hoc tasks.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and workflow blockers as they arise.
Support all site merchandising, site management, and marketing activities.
Criteria
Bachelor’s degree plus 2-4 years in retail e-commerce (website merchandising, digital marketing, or digital project management desired).
Proven track record of developing and implementing online initiatives with a strong understanding of internet-based consumer behavior.
Demonstrates strong personal ownership, works well independently and self-motivated, with ability to meet deadlines on-time.
Proven analytical and business planning skills: ability to think objectively, use data to make timely decisions, anticipate problems, and provide creative solutions.
Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad group of business partners.
Strong attention to detail: ability to manage large datasets with accuracy and precision, carefully follows instructions to complete tasks.
Highly literate in Excel (working knowledge with pivot tables and v-lookups), PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus strong communication skills.
Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Experience using Airtable, Web Content Management systems, Adobe Analytics are a plus but not required.
This role requires being onsite in our San Francisco office Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional in the office.
