POSITION PROFILE

Manage North American go-to-market strategy and growth initiatives focused on industry leading hardware, software, and services portfolio to generate leads for the pipeline with connection to direct sales revenue generation support.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Strategy & Lead generation Activation

Leads planning for campaigns and digital marketing and related performance marketing across Ricoh’s Graphic Communications portfolio of products and services. Builds an innovative data backed strategy to increase volume of and breadth of campaigns, diversify targeting, localize campaigns, and support new products go to market. Demonstrates deep understanding of analytics, martech, and data used to drive performance marketing decisions. Identifies new opportunities and closes gaps using performance measuring. Creates a culture of experimentation and collaboration within the team and to encourage new ideas utilizing analytics to develop, optimize and report on KPIs that help measure and deliver ROI of campaigns.

Works collaboratively with executive briefing/customer experience centers teams to drive customer engagement and experience as part of demand creation.

Leads with support from outsourced agency partner and inhouse resources development of campaign strategy and activation, trade media plan, paid digital marketing strategy, and trade show strategy. Ensures campaigns are properly executed, business objectives are achieved, and growth is driven.

Develops demand generation, social media, and tradeshow/event channel strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, sales operations, product portfolio and operations.

Manages campaign implementation in the marketing automation platform and CRM system while collaborating closely with Inside Sales and Lead Teams to develop pre- and post-lead strategy.

Provides regular reports and insights to the investment and executive teams, demonstrating the impact of marketing efforts on overall business goals.

Serves as liaison across departments and functional groups to ensure marketing campaigns are integrated across the company where appropriate. Acts as a liaison with internal lead development and nurture teams to establish successful conversion metrics around campaigns.

Collaborates with sales operations, field marketing, and channel marketing to provide visibility to marketing campaigns, processes, tools and reports.

Manage product, webinar, and event content as needed to support internal thought leaders, executives, and subject matter experts.

Directs team for activities that support ongoing customer contact, customer councils and customer user groups as well as lead reporting resulting from demand generation initiatives. Responsible for communicating that information back to adjust marketing strategies, programs and tools in support of global initiatives.

Product Launch

Partners with sales and product portfolio leadership, taking ownership and accountability in driving demand while regularly attending pipeline, revenue review, and launch calls.

Works cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product development, portfolio, and other functions to support business initiatives.

Writes and edits content within confines of portfolio, campaign and business messaging developed by shared services, product portfolio team, outside agencies, or consultants on an as needed basis.

Engages, and shares knowledge and skills, with the marketing team to provide continued awareness of marketing best practices and methodology to ensure that Ricoh stays leading in GTM strategy and deployment.

Ensures all go-to-market and launch information is communicated in a timely and clear manner to all sales direct and dealer channels across partnerships within US and Canada while aligning to global initiatives.

Responsible for understanding market trends, customer needs and requirements in key environments to guide messaging and go-to-market deliverables.

Brand & Reputation

Aligns to brand guidelines, ensuring marketing communications meet company brand and legal requirements.

Works with PR leader and social media leader to develop RGC focused organic posts and editorial calendar and social advocacy efforts.

Participates in brainstorming and creative concept meetings; collaborates with content team to translate strategies into creative briefs for the development of engaging concepts and copy for various support teams; generates creative concepts that support marketing strategies and integrated campaigns.

Partners with Analyst Relations leader to ensure analyst updates and intelligence is shared with RGC leadership, and product stories represent Ricoh North America strategically in the market landscape.

Budget & Planning

Manages the financial aspects of marketing initiatives, such as staying within campaign budgets, expenditures, and ROI.

Other duties as required to ensure total RNA success.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

College degree or equivalent experience required.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in leadership role leading Marketing Strategy and campaigns in the technology, services or software space.

Minimum of 5 years in product management, go-to-market/field management, managing both people and budget is required.

Proven track record being a strategic partner to sales leadership and using business acumen and collaboration to develop high trust relationships between sales and marketing.

Adept at building and leading through collaboration in a fast-paced, dynamic cross-functional internal and external environment.

Extensive knowledge and experience delivering demand generation programs. Knowledge of Eloqua, Oracle Sales Cloud, web, Highspot an advantage.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Subject matter expertise in B2B vertical industries (Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Higher Ed, Manufacturing/Commercial Print, and/or Technology Field).

Ability to create and manage full-range new product plans.

Strategic and creative problem-solving experience.

Create and implement production sales packaging and promotions.

WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data and instruction – prepare, provide and convey diversified information.

Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity – regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination).
