Marketing Coordinator

will support the Marketing & Events Director in organization, preparing for, and executing events that support brand identity on behalf of O’GARA & O’GARA’s manufacturer partners. This role will work closely with the Marketing & Events Director to ensure we are organized, providing high-value engagement, and sufficiently reporting on our efforts.REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSExcellent computer skills with MS Office and Google SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time-management skillsAbility to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in technologyStrong organization skills to manage simultaneous projects and short deadlinesProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to travelExtremely self-motivated, organized, and a great multitaskerDetail-oriented and flexibleDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor and manage deadlinesExcel at taking creative direction, working collaboratively, and integrating feedback into your workAvailable for site visits with direction from Marketing & Events Director and provide timely feedbackTake thorough notes during meetings and callsSupport Marketing & Events Director with all event coordination and reportingCreate timelines and checklists for eventsRequest quotes from vendors who meet brand standardsFollow up and hold vendors accountableEvaluate vendor quotes to provide suggestions to Marketing & Events Director selections of the best vendors to support an eventAvailable to arrive at event venues ahead of all guests and vendorsMaintain a positive attitudeMaintain a problem-solving mindset and professionalismManage vendor invoicing processFocus on priorities set by Marketing & Events DirectorUpdate event schedule under the direction of Marketing & Events DirectorFollow up on payments to vendorsMust be insurable by company insurance carrierMust follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisorEMPLOYEE BENEFITSHealth, Dental, and Vision coverage for employees401K PlanPaid time offPaid training, growth opportunitiesEmployee vehicle purchase plansDiscounts on productsCompensation: $27.00 - $37.00/hr.
